Portfolio - Coastal Garden
Connecting the house to the garden whilst maintaining the views, retaining the steep bank from the Terrace and utilising all of the space available, were the main factors from the brief. The solution was to strip the garden back to its boundaries and reshape. Timber groynes retain the reduced bank and a water rill draws a focus from the entrance hall, reflecting light into an otherwise dark corner. Reclaimed materials from the site were used to help the project fall within its budget.

'We can't thank you enough for the work you put in, the house and garden really compliment each other and perfectly reflect the waterside location. We didn't know where to begin, you on the other hand asked questions, listened, made suggestions and managed to design a garden that was exactly what we wanted.
The planting plan and schedule were comprehensive and easy to follow. The garden continues to be a source of delight to us, many thanks for all your hard work, patience and flair!'
